Ubud Monkey Forest

Monkey Forest Ubud, the monkeys within the Sacred Monkey Forest of Padangtegal are commonly called long-tailed macaques. Their scientific name is Macaca fascicuiaris. On Bali , there are Balinese long-tailed macaque troops (populations) that live in areas where they have little to no contact with humans and troops that come into contact with humans on a regular basis. In western part is Dalem Temple (temple dedicated to Siwa Gods), in eastern is the cemetery and Merajapati Temple dedicated to Goddes of Durga (wife of Siwa God).

Ubud Market and Ubud Palace

Ubud Market and Ubud Palace, the market has two different parts, traditional market located in the west of arts market, the traditional market sell daily food and open earlier. The arts market sell various of handicrafts, arts and textiles. Next to Ubud market is Ubud Palace where is the Royal Family live, in evening the outside yard use by the local group dance performance to held Legong Dance, Barong Dance, Ramayana Ballet and Mahabrata Ballet.

Dreamland Beach

Dreamland Beach, located in Pecatu Village and this is famous with Surfing Beach and good places for swimming, the beach has white sand and surrounding with white rock cliff. The area will be build big hotel resort, golf course and house property. Nice place to see sunset from here too.

Uluwatu Temple

Uluwatu Temple, Ulu in Balinese mean heart, Watu it's mean stone. This temple built in 11th century by Javanese priest Empu Kuturan or well known with Empu Raja Kerta. The temple located in south western tip of peninsula, up to the blue sea cliff approximately 100 meters high, the best place to view of the sunset. In 16 century another Javanese priest Danghyang Nirartha visit this temple and add more building, he retreated to this temple for his final life, when he attained Moksa or freedom. There are a lot of monkey around the temple

Kecak and Fire Dance

Kecak Dance at Uluwatu Temple, A Kecak performance is very simple. The men's chorus chants the words Cak ke-cak ke-cak ke-cak ke-cak ke-cak, in rhythm, over and over again, For this reason they are called the Kecak or Cak dance. The Kecak dances consist of about fifty men wearing only a loin-cloth, the upper part of their bodies left bare. They form rows of circles, in teh middle of which is a coconut oil lamp. The Kecak dance is performed for dance-dramas and the story presented is take from the Ramayana epic.
